We're living in an age in which the human impact on our planet is undeniable. Which begs the question, what can we still consider nature? Does it even exist in todays world?
This book researches this question, and with it the genetic future of nature. We're increasingly capable of altering organisms to suit our needs, but is this really necessary and what are the implications? The book features general information about the theme and a selected number of cases of biotechnology like the pest resistance maize of Monsanto,
glow in the Dark organisms and how genetic modification might save the orange from extinction. There are three main ingridients in this book, the main text, opinion based illustrations (which were also used as posters) and maps. The maps were later made interactive in the webapp/ ebook.
